“Can we make them now?” I shouted from my room. I got up and went into my grandma’s room. We were going to make Christmas cookies this morning and I was so excited!
” I’m going to the kitchen right now!” my grandma said. We walked into the kitchen and started getting the ingredients out. After mixing and stirring the batter, I placed the uncooked balls of dough in the burning oven.
“RING RING!!!” the bell rang about thirty minutes later. I was reaching to get the cookies out of the oven. As I opened the oven door the heat touched my face and I smelled the wonderful, fresh baked cookies instantly. “I can’t wait to eat these!” I said.
” Be sure to leave some for us,” my grandma shouted as I stuffed my face with delicious, soft, frosted, homemade cookies.”Mmmm” I said through my stuffed face. After all those cookies my stomach hurt really bad. ” I told you not to eat all those cookies,” my grandma said as I whined. I went and curled on the couch, took a nap, and woke up without a stomach ache, until I ate another cookie!
On that day I learned to listen to what people tell you. Also that you should spend time with your family and have fun
